Stuffed Banana Peppers – Appetizer

10-12 Banana Peppers
4 oz Cream Cheese
2 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 oz Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Sea Salt
3 oz Your Favorite Cannizzaro Sauce for Dipping
3 oz Browned Ground Beef or Ground Sausage (optional)
Trim the tops off of the banana peppers and slice a small section lengthwise off to create a boat. Remove seeds and ribs. Leave as much of the pepper as you can but still leave yourself room to de-seed and stuff.
In a small bowl, cream together the 3 cheeses with a dash of salt and pepper (and meat if using). Using a small butter or cheese knife, stuff peppers and put on sprayed, foil lined cookie sheet. Bake at 45o for 10 minutes OR put the cookie sheet right on your hot grill for 10 minutes.
Heat your favorite Cannizzaro Sauce and serve with peppers for dipping.
