    1. HI Laura!! My maiden name is Cannizzaro – it is my middle name now – I couldn’t seem to let it go! I don’t have much information about my family before my grandparents but I grew up in Rochester. My father grew up in South Ozone Park – Queens and then high school in Wantaugh – Long Island. I really want to learn more, I just need to get on some ancestry site soon.
We are not selling in FL yet (although feel FREE to ask your local Whole Foods manager why they don’t carry your absolute favorite sauce!!) as we do sell in the whole South region for Whole Foods and would LOVE to get in to the Florida region. We do sell online and ship so if you just go to https://cannizzarofamiglia.com/order-online/ – you can see what we have available. If you order a full case, we pay the shipping.
So great to “meet” you! Maybe somewhere back there we are somehow related!! Wouldn’t that be amazing!

  6. Hello! My wife and I I love your vodka sauce, we have realized that the last two times we have bought it from our local grocery store in Hickory, NC it has been extremely spicy! Was the recipe changed? If so I’m afraid we will need to find a new sauce and that it has become too spicy for us.

    1. I am so sorry! We had a batch that even though we used the exact same amount of spice, ended up tasting much spicier. Can you tell me, if you still have the jar, what the lot number is on the bottom?
That is the funny thing about pepper – and other veggies – you can’t really know that it will be the same each time. We would absolutely love to replace your purchase with another batch. If you don’t mind sending your address, we will send replacements right out to you. Thank you so much for reaching out to us.

I am going to go to Reids and see if I can get them.
